Sometimes in life
you just have to laugh. For instance, when soon to be two year olds transition
to toddler beds and end up with tubs of Vaseline all over themselves and the
carpet while they are supposed to be taking a nap. After 1.5 hours of trying to
get Emma and Addison down for a nap I thought, “Oh good! They are settling
down.” After hearing two little voices whispering to each other I knew
something was up. Here is what I saw upon entering their room. It has taken me
4 hair washing to get most of the Vaseline out of their hair. Today is their picture
day at school, and I think they are going to look a little greasy!
This photo is a little dark, but you can see the sheen of Vaseline on Emma's hands and leg. |
Light on, blinds open, very GREASY Emma |
Addison looking pretty proud of herself! |
Ha Ha Mommy! Look what we did! |
These pictures turned out a little blurry. I think the camera was on the wrong setting. I made these dresses! |
Emma had to demonstrate her nose picking skills! |
I said, "Wave to Daddy!" Emma still picking her nose! |
Emma at baby Catherine's first birthday! |
Addison concentrating on the crayons. She would not look up! |
And here they are in the middle of presents. Emma had to try out the ride on toy! They had so much fun. |
Oh my goodness! My twin sis and I iced our bedroom walls with a 1 gal tub of butter when we were two, so I'm just waiting for something like this to happen in our house! My girls' bedroom consists of two toddler beds and two floor cushions! That's it! ;)
