Addison and Emma have been battling a stomach bug this past week. We’ve also come to the conclusion (with our pediatrician’s advice) that our little girls may have some sort of food intolerance. Diagnosing the problem is in very preliminary stages so I don’t have a ton of information to share. Right now we are changing a few things with their diet and going back to the doctor in a couple of weeks.  So far the diet changes are not working out too well and Emma and Addi have been very irritable and tired.  We are hoping to find some answers to their digestive problems very soon. 

Emma visited her cardiologist this week for her annual testing. Her ventricular septal defect is still present, but not causing any issues at the moment. We will go again next year and hopefully the heart will have healed enough to move the appointments to every 3 years.

Looking at this on the positive side, none of these health issues are life threatening at the moment. We are just praying that the doctors can help us figure out the exact cause of the digestive problems so the girls can start feeling better and gaining weight.
