(This is what happens when I try to take their photograph! Please ignore the drool!)
Emma
The girls seem like they learn a new sound every day! They babble and “communicate” with each other more and more each day. Both girls are cruising along the furniture and standing for brief periods. They enjoy reading books and hearing the sounds animals make. They are in the process of cutting several teeth. I think the teeth are coming in out of order. The top incisors are poking through now, but the two front top teeth have not come in yet. Have I mentioned I hate the pain this puts them through!? They both seem settled into the new apartment, and are sleeping and napping very well lately (unless the dogs bark and wake them)! I guess I will mess that up again when we travel next week to Panama City.
Brian and I put an offer in on a house last week and it took the entire week to come to terms, but we did finally reached an agreement. We’ll be closing on our new home in 30 days! We are so excited to be settled into our new place. So far we LOVE living here. We’ve taken the girls to the beach several times, and hung out with some old friends. We have lots of University of Florida friends close by, and can’t wait to spend the college football season cheering on the Gators!
Addison left, Emma right
Emma left, Addison right eating cheese at a Mexican restaurant. My friend Erika, her daughter Kaitlyn, and Kaitlyn's friend Elizabeth came for a visit last Friday!
Addison eventually threw this bowl on the floor and broke it! I swept it up because I felt bad.

Aww, they look so cute and happy!! I am glad for ya'll that it has gotten easier. They do grow up fast. Good luck getting settled into your new house.
ReplyDeleteI love looking at your blog! Your girls remind me so much of mine! Congrats on your new house! How exciting!
ReplyDeleteYay! Congrats on your new house...you must be so relieved! And I know what you mean about the fast-forwarding that seems to be going on. Slow down!!! You want them to grow and learn and explore, but you don't want it to happen so fast, right? I so wish our babies could meet someday. Oh, and is Kristi (above) a mom of twins, too? I love meeting more and more families who share in our craziness!
ReplyDeleteI swear I am never going to tell them apart! If it weren't for your "cheat sheet" I'd be lost! Congrats on your house. We need to chat on the phone soon!
ReplyDeleteIt's the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, hot dog hot diggity dog, the problem's sooooolved!!!!!!!!!! (Grady loves it, too!)
