Orange and Blue Easter

I just can’t seem to keep up with posts lately! I am finally getting around to posting about Easter weekend. We had an awesome visit to Gainesville to see our friends, The Brennan's, and to take the girls to their first Gator football game. We thought it would be good to test how long the girls would last at the scrimmage game also known as the Orange and Blue game. We ended up getting there late since we had so much fun at the Brennan’s house. The girls loved it but as expected they had trouble sitting still.

We had a low key Easter at our house. We took the girls for a run, went to church, and stayed around the house for the rest of the day. We had a yummy Easter meal that has caused me to gain 4 pounds back of 10 pounds I had lost. Oh well! Gotta live a little! (That’s why my New Year’s Resolution was to lose 15 pounds this year and maintain that loss!)

Trying to get the girls to pose with Daddy for a photo.

Almost to the stadium.
I am sad this picture turned out blurry. Emma and Addison really LOVED the band!

End of game

Everyone lines up to get pictures with the gator. We had a little girl join us who just couldn't wait to sit too.

At this point getting the two of them to look at the camera was too much. Addison is laying down, Emma sitting

Emma left, Addison right.

When we asked Emma what her favorite part of the game was she said, "The popcorn!"

Panama City Visit

I have been slacking on blog posts. We've been busy trying toddler beds again, and (still) slowly working on potty training. Toddler beds are going better at night. Naps are still a challenge. Thank goodness we have the tents to use if things are going badly at sleeping times. Addison has been biting Emma pretty hard so the tents come in handy! Potty training is basically going slow. We sit several times a day. They are still not to a point where we can give up diapers.

We had time to make a short trip to Panama City to see my side of the family. The girls have so much fun playing with their cousins. I wish I had my camera handy all the times Layla decided to dress the girls up. They had their choice of ballerina or princess outfits.
